The race will start at Grove 29 and progress through the beautiful Busse Woods Forest Preserve. The entrance for the race is on Golf Road just east of IL Route 53/290W. This event is stroller friendly!

Start at the south steps, the main
entrance to the Capital Building. Run an almost perfectly flat course
that circles the capital. See all those volunteers? They are there to
help you enjoy the event.

discovered the AMERICA STEPS IT UP series of events on the capital
steps of the State Capital, on the steps of Governors' Mansions, or in a
state or city park! Some may think these events are meant to 'run
circles' around the government, but these active people consider the
America Steps It Up events a way to show other people in America they
are serious - Outrunning Obesity and having fun doing it. Every
